Salt Craft Kitchen features Chef Matt Greco's personal approach to everyday home cooking and baking. Due to COVID -19, we have evolved from a full service restaurant to a kitchen of take-out and a bread bakery. The take-out menu includes a taqueria, nightly hot & ready dinners, homemade breads and sandwiches. We deliver fresh bread to multiple locations around Pleasanton and you can also join us on our patio for our bakery stand on Saturdays.
CHEF MATT GRECO
I grew up in the great state of Texas, where as a kid I learned to build smokers and smoke meat from my dad. I attended the Culinary Institute of America; spent ten years in New York City working as a cook and sous chef for three great chefs (Daniel Boulud, Andrew Carmellini, and Gray Kunz); launched a successful award winning restaurant in Brooklyn; was an executive chef at Wente Vineyards; did a little bit of traveling; and received a few awards along the way. In New York I married another chef—a Bay Area girl—and after the birth of our first son we moved to Pleasanton, where cooking at home became the new inspiration.
